I am awoken suddenly by a sound I could not quite distinguish. I have not been able to for some time now. The mysterious noise seems far away, yet so close. I cover myself with my blankets and squeak in fear. Ever since it happened, nothing has been the same. Everyday I feel like I’m being haunted by some kind of ghost or spirit. I don’t feel loved. I don’t feel accepted. Could this be the ghost of my past?
