When I look in the mirror I know what I see, Changing faces that like to lie to me,

Scratch, pull, beg or plea,

I can’t escape this and be free,

I can’t stop these thoughts that loom,

In my mind behind my eyes full of doom,

I can’t escape this prison without a room,

I feel the poison in the mirror starting to bloom,

Every time I look I see a different mask,

Holding me down steadfast in the past,

Stealing my joy that I wish would last,

Yet they disappear instantly quicker than fast,

I feel the one looking back is more real than I,

I slip further into unknown a different reality,

A reflection of a life that’s not mine,

Broken into pieces of my fractured insanity,

They look, laugh, smirk and lie,

Try to destroy this life of mine,

I search for somewhere to hide,

There’s nowhere I can go where they can’t find,

Found Or not I still try to be,

In the mirror what I want to see,

Pieces of piece looking back at me,

Yet when I look in the mirror I what I’ll forever see!!
