Write a Clerihew poem about a pet you have or want to have.
A clerihew is a four-line poem following an AABB rhyme scheme, with the first line including the subject’s name. It often puts the subject into a silly or unlikely situation – perfect for writing about an animal!
Sadie Mae
Sadie Mae— She’s my gal.
Mama’s furry little pal.
She may be tiny; She may be small.
But mess with her Mama, and she’s 10 feet tall!
