POEM STARTER
Write a descriptive poem which portrays a busy city.
You could use metaphors, imagery, and appeal to the senses, to really capture the feel of a city.
Lights
Bright lights shining like the stars.
All you see in every direction.
Blinding, guiding, powerful.
Leading to the hope of what’s known and unknown.
Lighting waiting in the shadows,
All the while making shadows of their own.
