When I Look In The Mirror

I wish I could say I liked what was looking back at me, but I can’t, because I don’t. It’s not me. I have long red hair, bright blue eyes, and pale skin, but my reflection has a few strands of grey hair, wrinkled skin that says like it’s too big for the bones of the creature, and faded eyes that have seen too many years. See, this is no ordinary mirror. It’s a mirror that shows what you will become. It’s not too late, I can change what I am gout to become, but how?

The woman in the mirror looks at me, and smirks slightly, showing off her toothless gums. She steps aside, letting me see the inside of her house. A single bed lay in the corner, unmade, with sheets that look like they haven’t been washed in years. Dust covers every surface like a thick blanket.
