POEM STARTER
You begin to hear a voice singing to you, a voice that nobody else can hear. It slowly grows louder, and carries a sinister message.
Create a poem based on this concept. You may wish to include the voice's words and use them throughout the poem.
Only One Hears The Voice
“HelLO,”
A distorted
Voice
Speaks.
You look around
Only to see
Nothing.
Nobody else
Seems to notice this
Voice.
You than hear
It cackle.
“What is this
Voice?
Who does this
Voice
Belong to?”
Is all you
Think!
“You don’t need to
Now what I am!
All you need to now is that
I am here to
Help,”
That
Voice
Speaks.
It seems to hear your thoughts.
You ignore the
Voice
And hop on the bus.
As you sit down,
Someone calls you a
Name.
Of course you can’t
Hear that name because the
Voice
Screams at you to…
“HIT HIM, OR I WILL!”
“What the heck!? I am
Not
Hitting
A random guy,”
You _say _to the
Voice,
Or, well, _think._

Suddenly, you
Feel yourself standing up.
You can hear the
Voice
Screaming incoherent nonsense.
You walk towards
The guy who called you
A name.
Something pulls your hand up
And pushes it at the man.
_You just slapped him. _
