Villain on the inside.
Nothing would be different but as they plan to topple their ruler no one can see that. None of them can see anything clearly. Every single one of them blinded by the heresy that rots us to the core. You would believe that you have any control of your circumstance, yet stand stranded as a mortal that hasn’t enough power to set anything into motion. Am I rotted too? Never truly gave it much thought. It is possible that I can’t escape that fate, especially not among my companions. As I think about it i’ve noticed that may be the reason i was sent to destroy their musings of hope. Already rotted and disillusioned. Would you believe I’ve made it full circle, the revolutionary that destroyed the revolution. Comical if not sad. No matter, the group’s goal is to topple the first domino that then drives the public conscious to rithe with their false belief of freedom. My job is to stop them. So as they are once again blinded by their own hubris and i am simply an infiltrator. I suppose there is a vulnerability when you’re hopeful. There exists in me no platitude of grace, however much they’ve given me. So may I take comfort in their companionship or is that too harsh a deception even for me?
