The day had finally came, I saw as she looked up at me, with her adorable little toothless smile. I stood her up, placing something for her to hold onto. I walked backwards slowly, then I crouched down. It was a pretty good distance, I’d say about 2 and a half feet, I clicked the record button on my phone and placed it nearby. Then, I motioned my hands for her to come over to me. She looked at me, her big eyes searching for what to do. She looked around, then took her first step. “Good job!” I applauded her and continued calling her over. “Come on baby! You got this!

She came over to me successfully, one wobbly step at a time. But she did it! She had taken her first few steps!! I hugged her as she clasped my leg, then reached for my phone, stopping the recording. I checked the footage and smiled. I’m totally posting this later! This was a big day for both of us.
