POEM STARTER
Write a poem with the title 'Life Lessons from Death'.
Consider what Death might want to impart on those who can experience living, and the voice that Death might speak from.
I curse In this One
What can someone
Who reflects on the realization
That the father they idealized
Only obtained ownership
Because the mother they hated
Asked them to
**Be defeated by? **
What can someone be defeated by
If they look back on that
With gratitude anyway?
Can you conceive that,
Reader?
Can you conceive gratitude, somewhere
Somehow,
For life?
With the atrocities spurring you to your grave
With the unconscious pains from merely
Surviving
Death offers you relent
By asking you to tell it
**_To fuck itself_**
And find love somehow, someway too.
