Write a few entries of a captain’s log that is found washed up on the shore.

What kind of story can you reveal through this form of narrative?

In The Sea

Entry #26 Me ship furl along the crashin' waves. The lightnin' from the dark clouds gets much brighter 'n more threatenin'. They remind me o' Davy Jones’s skeletons constantly strikin' against me ship. I fear as though me voyage shall come t' an end in a way that be unimaginable. Entry #27 I’ve stored all me prized gold doubloons into me booty chest, I shall bury it at me island where nobody shall find it. I shall also keep this wee booklet into the chest where nobody shall witness me documents about me personal life. Entry #28 Me galleon has been struck by the blasted lightnin'! This shall be me final entry into this diary. I shall attempt t' sail back t' me island t' store this into me chest.
