It was a calm night. The bright full moon was flawlessly reflecting on the unmoving surface of the Baltic Sea. The soft breeze carried a salty smell through the cold dense fog that slowly floted over the ocean surface making it seem like an ocean of clouds.

Many had tried to warn the fisherman, they told him that paddling through the sea at this late hour would be too dangerous, that evil creatures lingered in the deep seas at night.

'What stupidities' the fisherman thought to himself as he paddled further towards the endless sea 'those foolish villagers must've had a bottle of beer too much'.

The night was silent. Nothing could be heard other than the gentle repetitive noise of the paddles crashing against the water as the small wooden boat went deeper and deeper into the foggy sea. This nightly excursion hadn't been the most successful, every time he lowered his net it came out empty; it was as if even the fish had gone to sleep, too afraid of what could be lingering in the unsettling darkness of the night.

But the fisherman didn't give up, hoping the fish had simply retracted a bit further away.

The fog was getting more and more dense as he went until almost nothing over a meter away was left to be seen. The fisherman decided that this would be his final try before returning home, he lowered his net into the dark back sea and attached it to his boat. And then he waited. And waited. And waited. It felt like he had waited for over an hour when he finally disheartedly grabbed the net and...

Suddenly something hit the boat, something big causing the boat rock threatening to topple.
