When I first,

Got this sweater,

I thought to myself.

"It's the worst!

Would be better

To store it with delph."

But years pass,

And I'm older,

My grandparents gone,

And to class,

All the bolder,

I wear it 'till dawn.

Oversized,

Far too itchy,

And quite overworn,

But prized,

'Cause I wish we,

Would not have to mourn.

It's as close

As I can be,

To them every day.

Grandiose,

Down to my knee,

It brightens my way.
