Whispers on the Wind

Somewhere strange as a stranger Glances come and glances go No sparks yet; impatience makes her Second guess the absence - no! Waiting will be worthwhile remember? The real reward requires watching Without wasting wisdom or reason “Resist” replays as a relentless word The sweat running down her back The strength felt in the consensual attack Resist replaced by wondrous release And only now does she feels truly free Her head high; the rest of her satisfied But the looks & chatter make clear why Even as a stranger she tried to resist again Society haunts her with whispers on the wind
