Security

Watching people every day;

Rushing, dashing every way;

Chatting, working, organised,

All ignore my prying eyes.

I watch them walking through the halls;

Using phones and taking calls;

Typing on their desk PC,

All oblivious to me.

People entering and leaving;

Continually Interweaving;

With smokers gathered in all weathers,

Huddled silently together.

The only place that I can’t see;

Is there, inside the lavatory;

Their secrets safe behind that door,

When they come out they’re mine once more.
