The Ghoul In White

There was once a bride who was to wed a handsome prince in an elegant section of wood.

On the day of the wedding, the bride waited and waited, but her prince never arrived.

Many years passed, and her prince finally arrived, but in a solid stone coffin.

She let out a wail, a heartbreaking sounds that echoed throughout the land.

The guards bringing the prince froze in their tracks, staring at the once living bride, now shriveled to the bone in her white gown.

They dropped their prince and ran as the ghoulish bride raced towards the coffin.

Sitting atop the haunted stone coffin, the once-bride continued to wail into the night, mourning her would-be husband.

Some say she’s still there, guarding the stone that held her love.

If you step too close, the wails turn into shrieks, and that’s the last thing you hear.

When wandering through the woods, when there’s a howl in the wind through the trees, that’s the cry of the Ghoul in White.
