It is a strange thing - departure. Physically leaving the city, the country, the people, the bureaucracy, the - it had been a cathartic relief. A fulfillment of the steady drum of "get out get out get out" that has been plaguing him for months, maybe years.

And yet…

5 months later, and memories of familiar streets keep flashing in front of his eyes, little tantalizing reels of a life and a time that cannot be returned to. He hasn’t been home in over 4 years, and now that he’s physically here, he realizes that he won’t be home for a very long time.
