I know they say there’s light in everybody and everything. In light, their is bright beautifu life. I’m not saying I had the light. But the light every single day? The never ending positivity? It was overwhelming. Sickening.

I have never been someone like that. I’d learned a long time ago to accept myself as I am. Still the constant light was a reminder of someone I wasn’t and could never be.

Then I found out there was dark. Darkness provided anonymity and a safe place were I could exist freely as I am.

So I set off, in search of a life were I could be free. Were I could be who I am without judgement.

Because in darkness, there is still life.
