a curious winemaker

given my appreciation for fine wine I decided it was to visit my local vineyard. when I arrived there were no other customers, oh well I thought it must not be busy this time of day. I stepped out of my car and made my way towards the cobblestone house that had been made into a winery. when I arrived at the pale yellow door I peered inside and saw that like the parking lot, the building was empty. I tried the door and to my surprise, it opened. I stood there for a moment, debating whether or not to go in before I gave in to my curiosity and entered the dimly lit hallway.i walked down and turned a corner where I saw a desk, sitting at the desk was a young woman, with red hair tied up into a bun with a pencil, she looked very mysterious. She sat there drawing for at least five minutes before she looked up and saw me. oh my apologies, she said I got absorbed in my drawings, that's alright I replied, I have a reservation for Autumn Mcdonagh at 9:30 am. The woman opened a drawer and pulled out a large book, she opened it going down the page with her finger. there you are she exclaimed, wine tasting, excellent choice. She opened a drawer and her desk opened up revealing a staircase that unlike the hallway was well-lit with dozens of Edison bulbs, the walls were decorated with beautiful brightly colored murals of flowers and geometric patterns. when we got to the end of the staircase she opened a door revealing a beautiful winery that one could only describe as eclectic. She poured 6 small glasses of wine before placing them on a tray next to some cheeses. she directed me on what cheese went with what wine, and damn was she good at her job, the flavors sang together creating a beautiful harmony.
