An elegy is a poem written about someone’s death, usually to grieve or appreciate them. Make this elegy have a hopeful, positive tone.
Elegy of Hope (prompt of the day)
When we meet again,
The heavens will sing.
Light like the dawn,
Flying high, angel wings.
Laughing of times,
Barely significant, on Earth.
Discovering far more,
How God knows, our true worth.
Yes together we’ll be,
Free of pain, only light.
One with Alpha, and Omega,
And all time, in our sight.
