Bad Story

It had been 5 years, 11 months and 32 days since me and my crew set off for mars. I never would have considered those years of being confined to a spaceship would bring me here. It takes a kind of person to go without seeing their family for long periods of time, I wasn’t one of them. Each day I was edging closer to insanity than I would have hoped, I guess that’s what you sign up for though. When I first woke I hadn’t yet grasped why it was so cold, why when I got out of bed I didn’t fly but fall headfirst into the cold hard floor. I splashed the almost metallic tasting water in my face, a desperate attempt to wake me up from dreaming. To my deepest consternation, the moment I stepped into the hall, the doors were open and a fresh breeze hit me, but not in the way I remembered from earth, it had a suffocating touch to it. I took what I gathered from coincidence and stepped outside.

(Sorry for bad writing, I’m rlly tired)
