The boys and girls that were never there

They had hopes and dreams

They had goals of their own

They were just like us; humans

Perhaps, they would've even surpassed us

In ambition, peace, and kindness

To have more humanity than these

humans pretend to be

We would never get to learn of their faces

We would never get to learn what happens after, if.

The boys and girls that were never there

Simply because they were not allowed to be.
