POEM STARTER

Write a poem that uses a boat as a metaphor throughout.
A Journey [?]
_Peaceful tides, clear skies, and an endless distance._
__
_This little sail boat travels these kind seas, allowing the wind to take it on this story, for the boat is simply too small to sail on just beleifs._
__
_Miles and miles it will go, creating companions as it rows and rows._
__
_Snagging fishy friends, or little sands, this sailing boat lets the wind guide it far across these lands._
__
_But it’s far too late once the hours turn to days, and the days turn to weeks, that this little boat sees no destination other than sea._
__
_Perhaps this floating object would rather go back, would make its fishy friends on its own pact._
__
_No more will this sailing ship sail with the wind, but this time, it will sail on its own whim._
