WRITING OBSTACLE
Start a story with a syllogism.
A syllogism is a rhetorical device that makes use of deductive thinking. It usually follows the format of ‘A is B. B is C. So A is C.’ An example may be: Killing is evil. An assassin kills people. So an assassin must be evil.

The sun is bright and happy.

At least that’s what I told myself when I started falling for her.
I knew that things wouldn’t end well.
And I was right.
The sun tricked me, and so did she.
