On calm waters out of nowhere,

A tsunami arrives again without care,

Scaring all the land mammals there,

On my island begins a nightmare.

The air trembles, warning shouts echo,

Screams plentiful, but escape successful,

Still, the trauma lingers on the soul,

In shaking fingers, gasps, and woe.
