Escape From The Sky Fortress

“Mom..I’m not sure I want to do this.” I said, afterwards biting my lip.

“Son, she is a pretty girl. She’s nice, intelligent, and dainty. She’s the perfect princess.” My mom said, looking at me like I am crazy.

“Ugh, fine. I’ll meet her. If I don’t like her then I am NOT marrying her.” I said, storming to my room.

“I want to marry Rachel, the beautiful peasant girl. My parents will never let me marry her. She’s the sweetest thing that’s ever happened to me.” I thought. I looked out the window, Rachel was doing laundry, soaking the clothes in the water. She was good at what she does. I walked down the stairs and walked outside of the castle. I went to Rachel. “Hi Rachel,” I said smiling.

“Hi Christopher, how are you?” Rachel said.

“I’m good, my parents want me to meet the girl they want me to marry, but I don’t want to marry her.” I said, with a bit of anger.

“Well, why not?” Rachel asked while she cleaned clothes.

“It’s because.. I want to marry you! Your nice, intelligent, and great at what you do,” I said.

“Really..I’m a peasent! You can’t marry me.” Rachel said, she looked sad.

“I know, but I want to! I really do,” I said.

“Well, you should be getting back now.” Rachel said.

“Okay, bye.” I said, I gave Rachel a kiss on the cheek and then left.

I ran back to the castle, waving at her when I looked behind me.

When I got inside, I walked to my room. I wasn’t ready for tomorrow. When I got to my room I went to sleep.

Before I knew it, it was morning time.

I changed into my suit, and walked downstairs. The girl was here.

“Hi, I’m Princess Alice.” Alice said, smiling.

“I’m Christopher.” I said, frowning.

“Well, your supposed to act nice!” Alice said.

“I can act how I want to act.” I said, getting even more frustrated.

“Fine.” Alice mumbled.

“You know what, I’m sick of this.” I ran out the castle, before I knew it the butler was chasing after me.

I ran to Rachel and said, “We have to go, I really want to marry you.”

“I.. I do to!” Rachel said.

“Can you swim?” I asked.

“Yes, yes I can.” Rachel said.

I threw my crown off, and jumped into the water. Rachel did too. We swam all the way to the Town of Noobia. It was a mile away when we got out, I got a job and we lived happily ever after.

The End
