We stood on foreign territory, cold wind against our backs, our shadows elongating away from us. We stood, waiting for our captain to give us the signal warning us that they where here, the monsters that where said to have been extinct millions of years before dinosaurs even came to exist. I looked at the person standing patiently to my left, she glanced over for a quick second and i could see fear in her eyes. Its crazy how with in a short amount of time you can know more about someone from their eyes then you could know about yourself. Who we where and where we came from was a memory that hadnt stuck to any of us, No one could even remember their parents. It was a sad truth, but all anyone knew was the need to stay alive and to do that we would need to do in order to kill what ever it was that was making its way up the mountain and straight towards our standing ground. May God have mercy on us all.
