Write a story that starts with this sentence. Is the 'storm' literal or metaphorical?
Lighting Hooves
The horses in the stable where restless and wide-eyed,
They new of the storm coming, though none had implied,
Thunder of turmoil, wind of unknown fear,
A tempest of change, drawing near through the year,
With hooves like lightning, it paced throughout the night,
Sensing the chaos, the impending fight,
But within its own cage, it could only await,
The storm in its heart, a fierce twist of fate.
