Storm Waters

Drip, drop,

Down, stop.

Lightning dances across shallow waters,

Birds fly high with sons and daughters,

They fly high above with shadows small,

Making their way twards the peaceful fall.

It’s waters so still and so calm,

The gray of the sky plating it’s palm.

Patter of rain mixes slow,

And it freezes in it decent to snow.

A forest alive with life and love,

In the trees jumping birds of a dove.

In the river flows the same eternal song.

At the bottom of the fall sounds a gong.

This place, here since the dawn of time,

Comes to life in the nighttime.

Birds take their rest but the forest thrives.

The water feeds those with fragile lives.

Drip, drop,

Down, stop.

(Not my best work but I hope you enjoyed this poem.😊)
