We’re arguing for hours

And nothing’s working out.

I told him that white roses make great wedding flowers,

But he likes to disagree a lot,

And we only have less than an hour.

He thinks we should get some white tulips,

But I think that white roses will do.

He always has to complain

About which flower shop we go to.

I’m getting really, really tired

With his constant need for bickering.

So I told him, “you’re fired from not doing your job”

And he started snickering.

So I stopped complaining and rolled my eyes

To let him do what’s nice.

So we just focus on what was the best

And which bouquet of tulips are worth its price.
