Every day of my life im stuck in the middle

In between the war of my head and my heart

My head is so full of thoughts

Always trying to self sabotage

Telling me i hate or i am hated

Filled with the white hot rage

Of ten thousand angry hurt dogs

All fighting and crying to be heard

My heart is so full of feelings

I love so deeply

And feel every emotion to the extreme

My soul aches to be loved

My heart yearns to be held gently

All my heart wants

Is to receive the same love it provides

My head says its hurt or be hurt

Defend yourself like a hunted wild animal

My heart says please love me deeply

And i will love you like you are my entire universe
