Bon Voyage, My Old Self.
He started gasping for air when he realized all around him was the thickest smog of black coal near the mountain range outside his house. “I have to get out of here” he thinks irrationally to himself as soon as possible. Where should I go? As he abruptly grabs his car keys and wallet and locks his house he gets in his vehicle and drives to the furthest destination away from this anxiety of abnormalities in the air all of a sudden.
About 4 hours of driving later he realizes that he didn’t say a word to anyone and he kind of likes this feeling of acknowledged abandoned of his close relationships. “A new me” he thinks to himself, a fresh start. Fuck it I’ll go back whenever I feel I’m in need of a break from this new adventurous life ahead. Goodbye safety and security, hello freedom of self expression. See you at a later time in myself, whenever and wherever that may be.
