Write a poem that centres around the motif of butterflies.
Different species of butterflies can be symbolic of different concepts, and their behaviours and lifecycles can reflect or inspire human emotions.
Metamorphosis Broken
I spun a capsule around my heart.
Unbeknownst to myself,
transparent fragility surround.
You saw into my soul.
Wormed your way past my walls.
Fed on my innocence,
Filled yourself - left me empty.
Now I lay broken on the ground.
