No. I was not ready to receive the answer to my speculations just yet - I thought I had more time.
His hand brushed against mine as the breeze sliced through the thick waves in my hair, causing the strands to attack my face while my vision became a momentous blur.
“Fucking hell,” I muttered to myself as I whipped my hair forwards, upside down, and reversed the motion with similar force. After what felt like a whole day, Dami pulled apart from me, with his arms still interlocked behind my back, and me helpless within his grip. My own arms had somehow found their way around his neck, as I was still trying to collect myself and fathom the startling event that had occurred. However, I was also pleasantly aware of the tingle and anticipation that was flowing through my body.
Something that scared me at first, but something that I now knew I was ready for. I didn’t even know it myself until the kiss, but I could tell that I had been waiting for this to happen, ever since the day our eyes met across the stone bridge; the exact one we were now standing together in the middle of.
