STORY STARTER

Submitted by mku1tra

One evening a goose arrives on your porch. He tells you his name is Frank and he must come in.

Who is Frank and what happens next?

Running Out

unning Out

Tick, tick—

The watch won’t slow.

Through winding paths,

Through whispers low.

“Not much time, not much time,”

White fur flashes, desperate, wild.

Hands too frail to stop the clock,

A boy, a friend, still just a child.

“Follow me, we’ll change the tale,

No more endings, no goodbyes.”

But stories bend, not break,

And time still flickers in his eyes.

A final breath, a final chime,

The rabbit stops, the race is done.

No more running, no more time,

His light fades with the setting sun
