Coding, Confusion, and Analogies

I’m confused and drawing parallels: Java instance, cloud instance, device instance, and instance of a class. Thinking of how analog to digital conversions are manoeuvred and finally I get to talk to the system. Pondering over why a certain language is object oriented while others are plain tasks coded. Thinking of blueprints in programming and those drawn while designing machines. Maybe I know too much that I actually don’t need to. Or maybe my knowledge on each subject is too shallow. Maybe I need to unlearn a few things. Or maybe I should start afresh with a clean slate. Maybe I should learn the smaller bits before I comprehend the whole picture. Or maybe I should know the sum before I add up the parts. I should probably stop thinking about parallels and concentrate on learning the syntax first. Or maybe the high of drawing analogies is making me learn better.
