A Perfect Summer’s Day
Sunbeams dance on emerald leaves,
As lazy clouds drift overhead.
Flowers nod in fragrant breeze,
Their petals a vibrant spread.
Birdsong fills the balmy air,
A melody sweet and clear.
Children's laughter everywhere,
Summer's joy rings sincere.
Golden hours stretch long and slow,
As daylight lingers late.
Fireflies begin their show,
When twilight sets its date.
A day so perfect, warm, and bright,
It etches deep in memory's keep.
Till stars adorn the velvet night,
And summer's day drifts off to sleep.
