Roots

In the Earth, they burrow deep,

Unseen tendrils, yet so strong.

A tree’s foundation, secrets keep,

Nurturing life. Where it belongs.

Roots of character, unseen yet known,

Upbringing’s touch, a shaping hand.

In childhood’s garden, seeds are sown,

To blossom forth as bright and grand.

As trees sway high with grace and might,

So too, our lives, by roots sustained.

From depths of darkness, into light,

Nurtured, strengthened, and sustained.

Through tempest’s roar and sun’s embrace,

They anchor us, a steadfast hold.

In life’s journey, an unyielding grace,

Guiding paths, a tale yet untold.

Like roots of trees, in nature’s art,

Our roots connect, a vital part.

To soil and kin, to heart and soul,

Nurturing the tree that makes us whole.
