The throne is mine. His life was also mine to take. Funny how things can work out that way. How one’s possession and life became mine to take. To inherit, even.
Without the king’s corrupt heart beating, I am to be Queen. I am to rule the land we call our kingdom.
_And I get every inch of it. _

They always said our king was corrupt, ruined, and brutal. But they seemed to have overlooked me. His queen. This kingdoms _queen_.
And that sure won’t happen again. Not under my watch.
I didn’t kill the king for it to go unnoticed, _no_. I killed him merely to express the power I shall always possess. The guards bow to me. They kingdom nods to me. No action shall take away that power.
And if any ever try to do…
Well, the consequences just wouldn’t be so wonderful.
But that’s just how the way of power works. And the way it shall always be.
