As I wandered through the trees, twigs and leaves crunching underfoot, I began to understand the true purpose of this sanctuary. Only in silence can we truly elevate to the next level. Only then can we hear the chaos and beautiful intricacies that surround us in the natural world. The true challenge lies in the continual conscious effort to remain still in mind and body. A wholly personal journey, each experience of peaceful quiet brings us closer to ourselves. I hear the birds. I remain still.
