Describe the taste of your favourite dish to someone who has never had it.

Don’t limit yourself to describing the taste in just its own sense: incorporate other kinds of sensorial imagery in your description such as visual, scent, and auditory details that can be symbolic of the flavours.

Humour

Imagine it glistening in the light with the warmth of the sun. Can you see it? A cluster of noodles bathed in orange, and a creamy sweet aroma filling the air.

Mother lifts the wooden spoon to your tongue and you taste the milky cheese and the buttery noodles. The rich flavor fills your mouth, and suddenly all you desire is one more bite.

Your first line is enticing with its description and its hook. You put this in the humour category. If you want to push it more firmly into humor, can you add a simile to compare is it something slightly outrageous? Instead of desiring one more bite or the narrator of this piece desire something else entirely?
