This second with you might mean nothing.

A small heartbreak feels earth ending,

But, oh, how the rise can guide.

Two Gods hands touch,

I might have been in the stardust that rained.

That one rose may have grown,

Just for you to pick it and give it to me.

The sun shone,

But I only felt darkness.

The door was open,

But I decided to walk a different path.

Who is to say if it leads anywhere.

But I would rather believe.

No matter the magic,

It aligns and leads somewhere,

Because for every lesson I’ve learned,

Seems to be caused and gained,

Exactly as I needed it.
