The Heart Wants What The Heart Wants

This is a story about two elements that could never touch. Because if they did, well it wouldn’t end well for either of them.

Now the tricky part here is that these two elements have fallen in love with each other. A dangerous, foolish thing to do.

but nothing, not even the nature of elements can prevent love. The heart wants what the heart wants.

Water and fire have a rather… odd relationship. Sometimes, fire wins, for instance if there was an oven fire, adding water makes it worse. But sometimes water wins, for instance a forest fire is eradicated using water.

So, in a way, Fire and Water are scared of each other. But something more freighnening is that they desire each other. They want to be intertwined, to hold the hands of one another, to share the intimacy of a simple kiss. But they can’t, can they?

The sad thing about this story is it will end very quickly, because Fire and Water could never _actually_ live a long, simple life together. So that brings out the big question; will they? For love? Even when they know what will happen?

The answer is yes. They did meet, they did join as one, for a instant, they shared the love they had been desperate to feel. They touched.

If you ask me if it was worth it, I would say yes, because living their lives in constant need for each other, but not fulfilling it would have been the most miserable life lived.

But that one single touch, was worth the scorching pain each other felt when they died in each others arms.

This story was about impossible love between two elements thats sole purpose is the cancel each other out.
