The land of misfits and lost souls. They all congregate or were forced onto this spit of land on the edge of the Iberian peninsula. An odd wasteland of scrub trees and palms hemmed in on three sides by the Mediterranean Sea and guarded by flocks of birds swooping and diving for fish, squeaking and squawking while in flight. Beauty and tranquility mask reality. It started with an odd fiery smog rolling in from the Arctic. Weather geeks spent years and taxpayer money crunching computer models, launching drones, and using the media to flame fear and panic. Mob mentality took over in cities like New York, LA, London, and Beijing and spread out like cancer into the suburbs and farmlands. All with one purpose in mind: to destroy anyone or anything that didn’t fit with the government narrative and directives. At first, there was an exodus of those that disagreed with government nonsense and academic standards. Families left their houses, jobs, and possessions behind and grabbed flights to this piece of freedom off the coast of Spain. Like a slow drip, a few hundred people every few months. They settled in and started new lives. As the insanity of the ideologies exploded, whole generations of families were forced onto any available boat or plane and sent to this outpost. The world became unrecognizable, full of odd flags and government leaders bowing down to corrupt idols, their emotions and minds warped by the mysterious smoke that now enveloped every square mile of the earth. Except for this refuge, this sanctuary for anyone not brainwashed by governments and the media machine. This island has made us strong, and courageous. We are mobilizing, ready to take back jobs, houses, and schools and turn the upside-down world right side up. To bring normalcy, and righteousness back and clear out the cloud that has sickened millions. We will prevail. This ragtag group of warriors and rebels is ready to rise up and overcome evil.
