Down and Down I go

I turn and turn and scream and yell

Where has all of this time gone

I try to go forward but I get stuck back

I go backwards and backwards, how is that?

This is the back roads of my life It seems to be.

How can I go forward in this horrid dream.

I spiral and turn and thrash

Why can I never turn right back

The time has gone and passed, but why is that?

Will I forever be going backwards or will I get better it seems

If I get to go forward bound then I will have a gleam so proud

Will I ever turn around?
