Dear Journal,

It is here on this day that I announce something to be cherished and admired for centuries. To have something burdened in my name. Spain shall cheer at my mention and cry at my sorrow. I am a hero and an explorer.

And I have discovered land filled with those far beyond my comprehension.

We will conquer.

The Natives shall cower at my name.

And Spain will rejoice in the glory of my discovery.
