POEM STARTER
"Deep down, you're really shallow"
Paradox - a phrase which would appear to contradict itself, but makes metaphorical sense. Write a poem that starts and ends with a different paradox.
waiting to go
“i’ll wait for you”
she said in jagged breaths
with her eyes piercing my soul
she picked up her bags five minutes after
just to walk out the door
and, without me,
go.
