I crept slowly out the window, I had the diamonds, rubies, and even the emeralds! I just had to make it past the five layers of security again! No biggie!

“Cher? Where are you?” I heard Kat whisper out and scoffed.

“Did your mask-“ I paused as I turned and saw, with great horror, Kat’s bleeding eyes.

This wasn’t the way it was supposed to be! How did- what?!

“K-Kat!” I shriek-whispered. “Your eyes! They’re- They’re-“

She rubbed her eyes and finished it for me, the touch of blood too familiar to her.

“BLOOD!” She screamed in agony. I saw her twitch and break down on the floor crying.

“Shh!” I try to calm her down, only a matter of time before the red alarm-
