POEM STARTER
Write an Epode based on any theme you like.
An Epode is a style of poetry where each verse is two lines which differ in meter and structure, but the second line is always shorter than the first.

The only way I could do that was
I’m just going home
To take my daughter out for dinner
And then I have to go bank
Of course I’m not sure how I can
I don’t know how to do it
I’m trying my luck and I’ll be there
When you’re here
And I’m not going nowhere with my life
I’m just trying my luck
I just can’t do anything with you anymore
And you are my favorite
And I’m always so grateful
That you’re in my life
