It’s Mom’s birthday today!

I stopped at the red light, and hum along to _Pink Skies by Zach Brian. _That was her favorite song.

“Gosh, I can’t cry right now!” I feel water drip down my face.

The light turns green and I continue to drive, I listen to my mother’s playlist and try not to cry. If only I told her to move!

I walk around as I feel the sun beam down on me. I find her grave covered in dirt, and I decide to wipe it off. After, I set down my flowers against her headstone, but something caught my attention. Next to my mom’s grave was another that had _my _name on it. What? I’m sure it’s just a mistake, right?

Once I got home, I Googled myself. _Ava Marie Smith; murdered in 2019, murder unknown. _What? I’m dead? How? I am so confused. I need to write about this!
