Indecision
The stars were what she liked most about the sky.
Then, they started to fall.
The balloons were what she liked most about parties.
Then, they started to climb.
Floating in the vast expanse.
Free to ascend or descend.
Tethered neither here nor there.
Scared to float or plummet.
Up or down, left or right.
Paralyzed by choices.
Caught up in the in-between.
Incapable of action.
